Kevin Newman- Honourary Member
Kevin Newman will be an instantly recognizable name and face to many Canadians. He is a retired journalist with more than four decades of experience working for all of Canada's broadcasters and ABC News in the US. His assignments included reporting from Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Moscow and just about every town and city in North America. Kevin was welcomed into 3V by Mark Walden as its first honourary member, helping share the stories of Veterans to one another and the Canadian public. He has hosted multiple fundraisers, including True Patriot Love Foundation. Most recently he has been an Advisor to the Board of NGO Aman Lara that is struggling to rescue Afghans who served Canadian soldiers and journalists during our deployment there.
Kevin is moderating our next panel discussion called “The Irregulars” where he and other veteran advocates will share their civilian perspectives on why they speak up for and support veteran causes that move them and some of the roadblocks they've experienced in advocating for soldiers within their organizations, and also how they've worked to overcome them.
The Irregulars event starts at 7pm EST on June 29th and members and non-members alike can register to receive the Zoom link here: https://treblevictor.org/events/22738
