Cliff Trollope’s two-decade career as an infanteer ended in 2007 when he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.  He began his transition to the private sector while still serving in the military and after three years of focused transition work was able to  leverage his skills in leading and managing operational resilience for military units into a role with the insurer Aviva as part of their Business Continuity team in 2007 which in turn led to a role at MNP a couple of years later.

Thirteen years after joining MNP, Cliff is now a Partner at the firm and is heading up their Enterprise Risk Services practice for Eastern Canada and Business Resilience practice nationally. In addition to running the Enterprise Risk Services business operation, Cliff also manages a team of consultants across the country  delivering crisis management, business continuity and enterprise risk management engagements for clients in the private and public sector.

A Treble Victor member from the outset in 2007, Cliff joined while still serving in the army, was a Board member for a number of years and has been the President since 2020 -  his term will expire in 2023.  On his watch Treble Victor has grown both in size and scope.  He is passionate about the Treble Victor mission and our unique place in the Canadian veteran eco-system. He has seen firsthand the power of our network and the value of mentorship.  Dedicated to helping other veterans and promoting the value of military service to employers, Cliff believes that Treble Victor will continue to grow and provide value to the membership as we stay true to our mission and foundational operating principles.
