3V Honorary Member Kevin Newman-2024 Ross Munro Award

Treble Victor is enormously proud of their honorary member Kevin Newman for being the 2024 recipient of the prestigious Ross Munro Award. The award of the Canadian Defence Associations is a mix of recognition for life-time achievement and ongoing engagement with Canadian security and defence issues. Ross Munro was a WWII war reporter who brought the plight and heroism of Canadian soldiers back to the Canadian public. Kevin Newman is a true modern day journalist with a huge track record in that tradition. Even though semi-retired he continues to be deeply engaged with the causes associated with bringing the stories of Canadian soldiers to Canadians back at home. The award was presented by LGen ret. Guy Thibeault, president of the Canadian Defence Association.
