Earlier this year we announced First Annual Mark Walden Award Winner(s)

The annual Mark Walden award is for a 3V member who has not only lived our values and principles (which we like to believe all members do) but gone above and beyond for the group and our mission. Mark was a “force of nature” and when he and Don Ludlow started 3V a key consideration with everything done – charter, conduct, operating principles etc – was for the membership to build something that would last. Mark was all about members contributing. As such, in addition to living the values, making a lasting impact is a key criteria.
 
The selection committee consisting of the Past Presidents and myself received six (6) very good submissions and making the decision was not easy. In the end, for this initial year, two co-winners were selected: David Mack from the Toronto Chapter and Francis Bleeker from the Ottawa Chapter. On behalf of the Past Presidents and the membership I would like to congratulate these two fine gentlemen.
