Romero Psychotherapy is a private practice which offers individual, couples, and family therapy through face-to-face and online sessions. In addition to speaking engagements, Romero Psychotherapy is actively involved in conducting research regarding mental health and treatment evaluations. It is also Veteran owned and operated with Richard being a retired Combat Engineer.

Job Description:

During employment, it is expected that the Administrative Assistant will maintain an understanding the following tasks and duties:

  • Greet visitors to the practice
  • Manage patient intake
  • Managing reception area
  • Answering phone calls
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Manage logins for phone calls
  • Referring inquiries as necessary
  • Computer software proficiency
  • Schedule appointments
  • Schedule other events
  • Creating patient accounts
  • Updating patient personal and financial information
  • Perform practice billing and invoicing
  • Expediting claims

Maintain and update practice financial information

  • Basic familiarity with medical terminology
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters
  • Maintain practice inventory and equipment
  • Assessing inventory will include:
  • Anticipate needed supplies
  • Placing and expediting orders
  • Verifying receipt of supplies
  • Scheduling equipment services and repairs
  • Respond to emergencies to best of abilities
  • Service in other administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

While degrees and certifications are an advantage, military training and experience will be looked upon favorably. People skills, positive attitude, and an ability to adapt are fundamental to this job as the poster are looking for the soft skills/intangibles that a military member brings with them.
